Dr. Michael EYMANN (HOPF) is a doctoral researcher of the Institute for Information Management in Engineering (IMI) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

He completed an apprenticeship as IT systems engineer at IBM Deutschland GmbH before he started to study computer science at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) University in Paris. In 2007, he completed his master with the topic “Load Distribution in Virtual Environments“. During this time period, he worked at IBM Deutschland GmbH in the technical field, in the development of advanced virtualization solutions for key accounts in the financial and insurance sector as well as instructor for infrastructure and programming topics. In 2007, he moved within IBM to the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) department, which was acquired in 2010 by Dassault Systèmes. From 2012 to 2016, he was a doctoral student at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) doing research in the PLM field used in mobile environments and finished this work in March 2016.
